Week 23

Technical Writing

Objective:   Students will synthesize answers to possible DIFFICULT interview questions.  Students will practice interviewing and being interviewed.  Students will evaluate themselves and peers on their interviewing abilities.

Assignment: On a google document, answer the interview questions supplied in the instructions below.

  1. Open all 5 of your documents in MICROSOFT WORD not google docs (if they are already in WORD, that is great!)
  2. Save type them as PDFs and see what they look like (this format allows you to email it to anyone without hurting the formatting)
  3. Print them at the printer in the library. 
  4. Sign up to have an aide copy them onto your CARDSTOCK paper
  5. Create a list of the top 7 pointers you will try to use for your mock interview
  6. Pick your favorite 7 questions to ask someone.
  7. Interview and be interviewed somewhere in the library (be serious)
  8. Get into groups of 3
  9.  Have one person interview you while the other films on your phone.
  10. Evaluate your interviewee with your 7 pointers...how did they do?
  11. Evaluate yourself with your 7 pointers and theirs...how did you do?
  12. Now develop thorough answers to these TOUGH QUESTIONS
