Day 1

I won't bore you with an overly emotional tirade concerning my new post as a Senior English Teacher.  It's a fun change and I look forward to working with you all again.

Below is the syllabus for each class

Language Arts Grading Policy:
Essay is due on due date
10% of grade is meeting the deadline
Late essays will be only accepted after 5 school days, otherwise they will be considered NHI (Not Handed In) and cannot be considered for credit after that
Tests/quizzes/projects will be completed for 70% proficiency.  Required re-takes must be completed within 5 school days.
Non-mandatory retakes are available, though students must take 2nd score.

Ultimately, my hope is to provide you with a fresh perspective on analyzing and dealing the real world through reading, discussion, thinking, and writing.
