ESSAY
Rikki-tikki destroys all of the cobra
eggs, save one. This last egg is important for Nagaina because it represents
her family’s survival. In the final conflict between Rikki-tikki and Nagaina,
the cobra grabs the egg and carries it to her underground nest. In this turn of
events, we see Rikki Tikki act similarly to Nag as he taunts, creates fear, and
kills young/baby animals.
Using the first three steps of the writing process and (Brainstorm-[bubble map], Outline [10
sentences- Green, 3 yellows, and 6 reds], and Ready Copy-[edit your outline and
write a paragraph on lined paper]) explain why some eggs are more important
than others OR explain why Nagaina’s egg is just as important as Darzee’s baby. Your READY COPY is due TUESDAY.
